Q: What if I am unable to pay?

LTLC was established to bring the game of lacrosse to all interested players, regardless of their financial situation.  If you have concerns, please consider contacting our Treasurer, Lori Jetton, at treasurerltlc@gmail.com to set up a payment plan or to apply for a scholarship to help cover your player fees.   Applications are available online under “Documents” and can be emailed in.  Players should be registered as soon as possible to ensure their placement on a team. Please contact a member of the LTLC board if you have any questions.

The registration date, used to determine team placement, will be based on the date that payment is received, a payment plan is requested, or that a scholarship application is received.  Please be sure to request a payment plan or scholarship at the same time that you register!

Q: When do I need to register?

The sooner the better!  Registrations are accepted on a first in/first on basis.  With the continued growth of lacrosse, we anticipate that all of the teams will fill quickly.  To guarantee your spot, register as soon as possible. A late fee of $25 will be applied to registrations received after December 19th, 2017 for both boys and January 1st, 2018 for girls.

Q: What team should I register for?

Your player’s grade level in the current school year is the first step in determining what team they are eligible for.

All Boys and Girls teams will register based on their grade level.

Boys teams will be determined based on your home address and not the school your child attends. (exceptions will not be allowed for waivered students, and we may request proof of residency).

It is crucial for you to register your player for their home team as soon as possible to ensure the best opportunity to play on that team!  Players may be transferred to other teams if their own team is full.

Q: Why is LTLC starting the registration process so early?

There is a lot of planning that is already taking place!  To determine equipment and uniform needs, schedule games and assign coaches, we need to know how many players we will have next year.  The more information LTLC has now, the better we can serve you and your team.

Q: When do we start playing?

Boy's youth practices will begin the first week of February, with games beginning the first weekend in March.  Your coach will contact you before February with practice times and locations.

Girl’s youth practices will start the last week of February, with games beginning the second and third weekend in March.

Face Off Day is tentatively set for January 6th! This is the day you get to meet your coach and your teammates, receive notification about practice dates and locations, buy spiritwear, purchase any missing pieces of your Uniform, etc!

Q: When are practices and games?

LTLC is currently trying to firm up field commitments, which will dictate practices schedules.  The board will have more information on practice schedules at our informational Face Off Day in January, more information to follow in a later email.  Youth teams generally have two practices during the week and a game on the weekend.

Q: What equipment will I need to play?

Boy's youth players need to purchase is a stick, a mouth guard, cleats, and a protective cup!

If you do not own equipment, LTLC will rent protective equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads and gloves) for all boys who are new to the program for the first year they play lacrosse with LTLC. Please be sure to include equipment rental in the registration process. To assure that equipment is returned in good condition and in a timely manner, a $200 post-dated deposit check will be collected when equipment is checked out.  The check will not be cashed and will be returned to you when equipment is checked in at the end of the season.

Girls youth players will need to purchase a stick, girls lacrosse goggles, cleats, and a mouth guard.

All protective equipment listed above is required to participate in practice and games.
